SSC60
60 Days of Physical Strength, Mental Toughness, and Community
Welcome to the SSC60, a 60-day lifestyle blueprint for the brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, as well as their friends & family. Anchored in our foundational principles of Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service, this program is designed to build unwavering discipline, peak physical stature, and a fortified mindset. Through strict physical training, clean nutrition, daily intellectual growth, and active brotherhood engagement, this challenge transforms individual H.A.B.I.T.S. into a collective culture of excellence. You will either adapt and conquer, or face the Day 1 Restart Rule. There is no middle ground. This is where we prove what it truly means to be a Strongest Sigma.
For the next 60 days, you will hold yourself (and fellow participants) to an absolute standard. Zero shortcuts. Zero modifications. Zero excuses.
01
Iron & Sweat (Two 45-Minute Workouts)
You must complete two distinct 45-minute physical training sessions. They cannot be back-to-back.
To align with the Strongest Sigma standard, at least one workout must be a dedicated
strength or weight-training session. The second can be functional cardio, conditioning, or
structured active recovery.
02
Clean Fuel (No Alcohol, No Cheat Meals)
Choose a clean nutritional framework that aligns with your fitness goals (e.g., caloric deficit, clean
bulking, macro-tracking). You must follow it strictly. There are absolutely zero cheat meals and
zero alcohol consumption allowed for the entire duration of the program.
Minimal Suggestion: No cheese. No bread. No cereal. No sweets. Add fruit and vegetables to every meal.
03
The Scholar's 10 (Intellectual Growth)
Read at least 10 pages of a physical, non-fiction book daily. Audiobooks and digital screens
do not count. Focus on topics that elevate your mind: leadership, business, financial literacy,
personal development, or Black history and culture.
04
The Hydration Standard (1 Gallon of Water)
Drink one full gallon (128 oz) of plain water over the course of the day. Supplements, preworkouts,
protein shakes, or flavor packets do not count toward this total. It must be pure, clean
water.
05
SSC Roll Call
Take a daily progress photo within the app to visually track your accountability. Additionally, you
must reach out directly (via text, call, or DM) to at least one fraternity brother to check in on
his well-being, lifestyle goals, or challenge status, actively building the bond.

FORMING NEW HABITS
Through H.A.B.I.T.S., the Strongest Sigma Challenge becomes more than a competition, it becomes a multi-tier platform for transformation. Sigma Brothers connect across the organization to lead collaborative workouts, real conversations, and impactful health education, creating relatable, brother-to-brother engagement that inspires action.
Together, we are building a culture where strength is earned, health is understood, brotherhood is lived.
Health Awareness | We prioritize education around critical health issues—especially those disproportionately affecting Black men—empowering Brothers with life-saving knowledge and preventative strategies.
Accountability | Brother-to-brother accountability drives consistency. Through shared goals and collective motivation we push each other to stay committed and show up stronger every day.
Brotherhood | At the core of SSC is connection. We strengthen bonds across chapters and generations, creating a supportive network rooted in trust, unity, and shared purpose.
Intentional Living | We don’t train randomly—we move with purpose. Every workout, conversation, and decision is aligned with becoming stronger physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Transformation | SSC is about progress - physically and mentally. We celebrate growth at every level—from beginners to elite performers.
Sustainability | This isn’t a moment—it’s a lifestyle. We promote long-term wellness habits, consistent routines, and ongoing engagement with fitness and medical professionals.
